Option A: Incorrect.
While fun, flipping your coat over your head is an unacceptable way to don the garment if you are over the age of six.
Option B: Incorrect.
When putting on your coat, your hands should never be elevated higher than your head.
Option C: Correct!
Standing behind you, the gentleman opens your coat and lowers it, giving you access to the arm holes. Once your arms are comfortably inserted into the sleeves, the gentleman slides the coat up over your shoulders. Many gentlemen do not know when it is the appropriate time to raise the coat, so you may want to cue him verbally.
Caution: If wearing a cocktail ring, it may snag the lining of your coat. Simply turn your ring towards your palm before donning the garment to avoid this catastrophe.
